Shrub and fruit tree pruning

Our experienced arborists have been providing fine pruning services since 1984. Our pruning skills mean that we don’t just improve the aesthetics of shrubs and trees; reshaping and removing dead and damaged branches, but we also increase their long-term health. 

For fruit trees, the right amount of pruning, done correctly, can really maximise both fruit production and quality. And it can also prevent disease. Too much pruning can stimulate vigorous growth which can impact the tree’s fruit production and health. We can recommend a management plan to help your fruit trees grow and deliver for years to come. Discussing what outcome you want to achieve, we will advise on which branches should be pruned and how much they should be reduced by.

Site clearance

We provide site clearance for domestic, commercial and local authorities. Operating at the highest level of Health and Safety, and always within the confines of environmental considerations, we specialise in rapid clearance from sites with minimal noise, length and cost. Using state of the art and commercial scale equipment, we can remove vegetation from dense grass through to overgrown woodland. Our site clearance services also include dealing with any relevant legislation and complying at all times with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

If you have a development site with trees, our consultancy services can provide you with advice and solutions; offering pre-development site surveys and aboricultural implication studies. And we can provide specialist advice on any legal and ecological constraints too, including Tree Preservation Orders, conservation areas and the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000.

We have been using Cardiff Treescapes for several years now, initially for lawns, bulbs and general garden maintenance.

Recently, we needed some site clearance in preparation for our new build project and we instantly thought of asking Paul to quote, which he did & his quote was very reasonable & acceptable to us.

After our site was cleared, we discussed our budget & Paul designed a new garden for us, which is wonderful. Paul and his team now maintain our garden & lawns.
